Fun, Food, and Friendship

Last Thursday, we were thrilled to be back at the Mobile Events Tent (MET), invited by Strive 2 Thrive Lancashire and UCLan Preston City Council – In Certain Places, for another exciting community event—our popular Air Fryer Cookery workshop! With over 60 people either joining the sessions or pitching in to help, the workshop was not just about delicious food but also about having a great time together.  This is what happens when you mix fun, food, and the amazing spirit of Preston. Our Air Fryer Cookery workshops are more than just cooking classes; they’re a chance for people from all walks of life to come together, learn something new, and enjoy each other’s company. The atmosphere was lively as attendees mixed, mingled, and mastered the art of air fryer cooking – it was a celebration of community and the joys of coming together. One of the highlights of the day was our raffle, where 10 brand new air fryers were given away. The winners went home excited to try out their new skills and recipes in their kitchens. At Beanstalk, we love organising events that bring people into the heart of Lancashire’s communities. The cook and eat sessions, like the one we had, are always a hit because they offer a fantastic way to connect and learn more about the diverse residents of Preston and Lancashire. Our workshops also provide a relaxed space for people to explore different paths, whether they’re looking to learn new skills, find jobs, or even start their own business. For those who just come for the social aspect, that’s perfectly fine too—we love meeting and getting to know everyone. We want to thank Strive 2 Thrive, UCLan Preston City Council – In Certain Places and Preston City Council’s Household Support Fund for their support in making these events possible. The MET has become a key part of our community events calendar. Thanks to everyone who joined us this time around, and we look forward to cooking up more fun soon!
